Responsibility on Disasters

There are many people helping to save people from disasters..and one of them may be you.

Help save the world today!

    So today we have internet. We have a house. We have a closet to keep our clothes. Everything seems easy for us.

 But, what about the people who don’t have enough? The people who are homeless? Those who do not have the money to buy clothes?

    Things can get a lot worse when a disaster strikes us. A disaster, take a tsunami as an example, just blows away a lot of our wealth- it destroys the house. And what do we have in the house? Money, clothes, furniture, and more. Loosing all of those stuff is pretty bad, isn’t it?

   But think about the poor! What happens if a tsunami just suddenly crashes their wooden hut, engulfing everything the person has! It is as if he or she has lost everything. Even much worse than us loosing things.

   Poor people is also less likely to survive in an event of a disaster. Since they do not have education and they do not know what to do in a disaster, plus they do not have as strong houses as us. I doubt if they have a house. 

     And while us, with all these cars, toys, furnitures, elctronics and money, we can always double up our house protection. For example, if a hurricane is about to hit, we can upgrade the house with many kinds of protections.

       And when this happens in some place, and we are lying in our house, we should start thinking about this- How Can I Help? When we are at our house, we are living normally, while in a place where a disaster strikes, they loose everything. There is a social responsibility to help everyone- both the people who are in the same level of society as us and the people who do not have enough.

     There are many ways that we can provide help to those that need help- we can donate money to relief agencies like Red Cross or FEMA, or if you can, you can go there and help yourself. You can go on a car, pack some things to donate, and go. We can go to the place where the disaster striked and give the people the things we want to give them.
